7th edition of Walk /Run of Courage

Every year for the past 7 years the PROCURE Walk /Run of Courage aims to spread awareness of prostate cancer and invites men to take control of their health. Knowing that screening is the best weapon to prevent the progression of cancerous tumors, it is essential that the men and their families are aware of this fact. "Finally an event for men's health" says the PROCURE’s spokesman, Jean Pagé, host of many sports programs. The Walk of Courage is also about bringing together men who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer, along with their families, to celebrate life together.

NOTICE TO OUR RUNNERS

Through a partnership with Running Room, all our runners can get a race kit at Place Ville-Marie’s store (1, Ville-Marie Place), on June 14th and June 15th, between 10:00 AM and 8:00 PM (Get directions).

6^th edition of Walk/Run of Courage will be held on June 17, 2012

The 6^th edition of the Walk/Run of Courage will be held once again at Parc Jean-Drapeau. We are delighted to have Ms. Penelope McQuade as co-Honorary Chair along with Mr. Gérald Tremblay, Mayor of Montréal. Ms. McQuade is a well-known television personality and also the daughter of Winston McQuade who is very involved with PROCURE.

This year, the event will have an early start with a Father’s Day Breakfast followed by a 5 km walk or run. This will allow you to spend more time with your family on this special day. We welcome the whole family to participate. You can consult the timetable for more details.
